A door-to-door (D2D or DTD) shipment with AGLog Cargo includes: origin truck collection, Hong Kong export customs declaration, ocean or air freight to the destination, destination port handling, destination import customs clearance, and last-mile trucking to the consignee's address. Duty and taxes at destination are collected from the consignee unless DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms are agreed.
Port-to-port covers only the ocean leg between departure and arrival ports. You handle inland pickup at origin and delivery at destination yourself, plus arrange customs separately. Door-to-door bundles inland trucking at both ends and customs clearance at both ends into a single managed service. Most importers prefer D2D for simplicity — one contact, one invoice, one accountability.
Transit depends on the selected carrier, routing, cargo-ready date and handling arrangements. Ask for a current estimate for your shipment, with vessel or flight transit distinguished from pickup, customs processing and final delivery. Estimates are subject to schedule changes and authority review.
Destination customs coordination can be included in the agreed door-to-door scope. AGLog Cargo works with suitable local brokers for import declarations and release, while the importer remains responsible for accurate product information, permits and duties unless agreed otherwise.
